Jaguars release Massaquoi, Spitz

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Monday that they released wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi and guard/center Jason Spitz.

Massaquoi has 118 receptions for 1,745 yards with seven touchdowns in four NFL seasons, all with the Cleveland Browns. He had 17 catches for 254 yards last year.

Spitz, 30, has started 45 games in his NFL career, all with the Green Bay Packers (2006-10). He played in 10 games as a reserve for the Jaguars in 2011 and missed all of last season with a foot injury.

The Jaguars roster is at 88 players.
