Jaguars LB Posluszny ruled out against Cardinals

Jacksonville Jaguars middle linebacker Paul Posluszny will not play Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals due to a concussion, the team announced Saturday.

Posluszny was listed as questionable on the team's injury report Friday. He was injured in the fourth quarter of last Sunday's win over the Tennessee Titans.

The team ruled him out because he did not pass concussion tests.

Posluszny has a team-high 88 tackles, two interceptions, eight pass breakups, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.

Outside linebacker Russell Allen, who has started 39 games over five seasons, will take Posluszny's place. Allen set career highs with 201 tackles and eight pass breakups last year. He has 40 tackles and two fumble recoveries this year.

Also, Jacksonville promoted defensive end Ryan Davis from the practice squad.
