Jaguars cut roster to 75

Veteran long snapper Jeremy Cain was among 13 roster moves made by the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

Cornerback Jeremy Harris, a seventh-round rookie, was placed on injured reserve with a back injury.

Second-year guard Mark Asper was waived along with two first-year pros, punter Ken Parrish and cornerback Lionel Smith. Eight rookies waived were: linebacker Maalik Bomar, linebacker Jeremiah Green, defensive end J.D. Griggs, defensive end Paul Hazel, long snapper Luke Ingram, wide receiver Jamal Miles, safety Ray Polk and offensive tackle Roderick Tomlin.

"This is never an easy day. Some tough decisions were made today," Jaguars general manager David Caldwell said. "These players all came in and competed every day and we appreciate all the work they put into the building of our team. We wish them nothing but the best in the future."
