Recommendation: Judge Michael Spano ruled on a deferred sentence of one year, so Blackmon will escape jail time if he completes 50 hours of community service and pays a $500 fine. While Times-Union reporter Vito Stellino says Blackmon is expected to enter the substance abuse program, there's no word yet on possible penalties handed down from Roger Goodell. Blackmon also remains unsigned with the Jags looking to include offset language in his contract in the event of another off-the-field transgression. The team's training camp is set to open Thursday.
Update: Blackmon pleaded guilty to an aggravated DUI charge stemming from his June 3 arrest in Stillwater, Okla., the Florida Times-Union reports.
