Jaromir Jagr's long and storied hockey career appears to be coming to an end.

The 41-year-old Jagr said in a Facebook post on Tuesday that he'll likely retire at the end of the 2013-14 season, which will be his 20th in the NHL.

"It looks like it will be my last season," Jagr said, "so I can't be too risky."

He signed a one-year, $2 million contract with New Jersey Devils last month. The Devils will be his seventh NHL team.

Jagr has played in 1,391 regular-season games (10th in NHL history) and has 681 goals (10th all time) and 1,688 points (eighth) for Pittsburgh, Washington, the New York Rangers, Philadelphia, Dallas and Boston. In the playoffs, he has added 78 goals and 199 points in 202 games.

Last season, Jagr was with the Boston Bruins for their run to the Stanley Cup Finals. He also played on two Stanley Cup championship teams in Pittsburgh.
