Stoudemire shot 5-14 and converted 5-6 from the free throw line. Other key performers for New York were J.R. Smith with 21 points and 5 rebounds, and Carmelo Anthony with 19 points and 9 rebounds. Stephen Curry had another strong game for Golden State despite the loss, scoring 32 points on 10-21 shooting (6-12 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 6-8 from the free throw line. Andre Iguodala contributed 12 points and 6 assists.
This drops Golden State (45-28) to 1-1 against New York on the year.
