Islanders re-sign Visnovsky

Lubomir Visnovsky, who would have been an unrestricted free agent this summer, reached agreement with the New York Islanders on a two-year deal, the team announced Frday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Newsday reported the deal is worth approximately $9.5 million.
Visnovsky, who turns 37 in August, has three goals and nine points in 22 games this season, his first with the Islanders.
