Isaiah Thomas, Goran Dragic lead Suns by Bobcats

The Phoenix Suns shot 43-82 (52.4%) from the field and turned it over on only eight possessions, to steal one from the Charlotte Bobcats, 111-106. This is only the third win for Phoenix (13-14) in its last 10 games.

Isaiah Thomas came off the bench and scored 23 points on 7-13 shooting from the field (3-8 from behind the arc) and 6-10 from the free throw line. Other top performers for Phoenix were Goran Dragic with 20 points and eight assists, and Markieff Morris with 13 points and eight rebounds. Al Jefferson had another quality performance for Charlotte in the loss, scoring 28 points on 13-22 shooting. He also added 10 rebounds. Kemba Walker added 27 points and seven assists.

In addition to their eFG% of 57.9%, the Suns recorded a TO% of 8.6%. They are 1-0 this season when turning the ball over on fewer than 10% of their possessions while also eclipsing 55% in eFG%. On the other hand, the Bobcats are winless (0-3) when allowing such performances to their opponents.

Charlotte (6-19) has now lost four straight.

Coming up, the Suns battle the New York Knicks, who are 5-22 on the season. The Bobcats meet the Philadelphia 76ers, currently sitting at 2-22 this year.
