Injury Questions: Week 17

Evan Silva breaks down all of the fantasy matchups for Thursday night's Ravens-Bengals game

Welcome to Week 17 of the National Football League, Fantasy Division. Hopefully you don’t have too much on the line this week, but if you do, that’s good too! That means you are still in it. So let’s get down to business.

As a last minute primer let Pat Daugherty answer your lineup questions with his Week 17 Rankings. And always be sure to read Evan Silva's look at every game in his Matchups column.

1PM GAMES

Browns at Ravens

* Brian Hoyer (shoulder/bicep) is doubtful and Johnny Manziel is on I.R., so we get Connor Shaw this week. He has to be an upgrade for the Browns offensive players over Manziel at the very least.

Jaguars at Texans

No Fantasy Relevant Injuries

Chargers at Chiefs

* Ryan Mathews (ankle) is out this week. Branden Oliver will get the start with Ronnie Brown and Donald Brown also getting some work.

* Keenan Allen (collarbone) won’t be able to go again this week. Eddie Royal and Malcom Floyd will get the start with Antonio Gates seeing a bump in targets.

* Alex Smith (lacerated spleen) is out and Chase Daniel will take over in a game Kansas City needs to win for a chance to stay in the playoff hunt

* Jamaal Charles (hamstring/ankle) is listed as questionable, but was able to get in limited practices all week. He’ll play with the playoffs still on the line.

* Dwayne Bowe (shoulder) is questionable, but will play.

Jets at Dolphins

* Percy Harvin (ribs, ankle) is questionable and probably a game-time decision after getting a limited practiced in on Friday.

* Chris Ivory (hamstring) returned to a full practice on Friday and should be fine for the finale.

Bears at Vikings

* Jimmy Clausen (concussion) is out, which means Jay Cutler is back under center for the Bears.

* Kyle Rudolph (ankle) is questionable after not getting much practice in.

Bills at Patriots

* Jonas Gray (ankle) is out for this week. The Patriots likely won’t play their starters all four quarters, so all their players make for iffy starts.

Eagles at Giants

* Andre Williams (shoulder) is listed as questionable and Rashad Jennings (ankle) is listed as probable. Both got limited practices in all week and are likely to play in a timeshare.

Saints at Buccaneers

* Pierre Thomas (ribs) has been put on I.R. ending his season. Travaris Cadet should be active this week with Thomas out.

Colts at Titans

* Dwayne Allen (knee) is out this week. Coby Fleener and Jack Doyle will see the tight end work.

* T.Y. Hilton (hamstring) is listed as questionable, but practiced all week. He’ll probably start, but should see limited snaps with the Colts already set with the 4th seed.

Cowboys at Washington

* DeMarco Murray (hand, illness) is probable and only needs 29 yards to break Emmitt Smith’s single-season franchise record. The Cowboys chances of moving up in seeding are extremely poor so there’s a decent chance they will rest some players in the third and fourth quarter.

4PM GAMES

Panthers at Falcons

* DeAngelo Williams (hand) is listed as probable, but the team seems concerned about his pass blocking ability still and could sit him. Jonathan Stewart should be a safe fantasy play in this Week 17 playoff game.

* Julio Jones (oblique) was able to practice on Friday and is listed as questionable. He’ll play.

* Steven Jackson (thigh) is listed as questionable, but won’t play. Jacquizz Rodgers will get the start while Devonta Freeman should see a decent chunk of the work as well.

Raiders at Broncos

* Emmanuel Sanders (hip) is listed as questionable, but is expected to play as usual.

* Peyton Manning (thigh) practiced in full and is listed as probable. They will play hard enough to beat the Raiders at home so they can keep the #2 seed.

* Ronnie Hillman (foot) is probable and willplay. C.J. Anderson will remain the lead back and Hillman should mainly cut into Juwan Thompson's playing time.

Lions at Packers

* Joique Bell (Achilles) practiced in full on Thursday and Friday and is listed as probable. He’ll play as usual in a game that could vault the Lions up to a possible #1 seed with a win or all the way down to the #6 seed with a loss.

* Aaron Rodgers (calf) is listed as probable. Rodger that.

Rams at Seahawks

* Jermaine Kearse (hamstring) has been ruled out. Paul Richardson will start in his place.

Cardinals at 49ers

* Drew Stanton (knee, infection) is out and Ryan Lindley will get the start.

* Carlos Hyde (ankle) has been ruled out. Alfonso Smith will back up Frank Gore.

* Stevie Johnson (knee) is out. Brandon Lloyd will play in his place.

SUNDAY NIGHT

Bengals at Steelers

* A.J. Green (biceps) is probable after getting practice in on Thursday and Friday. He’ll be good to go in this game, which will decide the AFC North champion.
