Indians' Bourn placed on paternity list

Outfielder Michael Bourn was placed on the three-day paternity list by the Cleveland Indians, who recalled left-handed pitcher Nick Hagadone from Triple-A Columbus.

Bourn, 30, is batting .299 with two home runs and 15 RBIs in 56 games this season.

Hagadone, 27, is 0-1 with a 5.40 ERA in 27 appearances spanning three different stints with the Indians and had just been sent down Thursday. He is 1-1 with a 2.00 ERA in seven appearances for Columbus this season.
