The Colts forced two turnovers, gave up just 239 total yards and pounded the hapless Texans, 25-3, at home.
Andrew Luck found the end zone for two scores against the Texans on 19 of 32 passing for 180 yards and one pick. Case Keenum went 18 of 34 with 168 yards passing, no touchdowns and two picks for the Texans.
Trent Richardson carried the ball 19 times for 64 yards while adding four receptions for 38 yards and a score. T.Y. Hilton pulled in eight balls for 78 yards.
The Indianapolis defense was the deciding factor in the victory, allowing 107 yards rushing and 168 passing. They harassed Keenum and the Texans offensive line with an imposing four sacks.
Finally, Adam Vinatieri was perfect, connecting on all three of his field goal attempts.
Texans tight end Ryan Griffin put up 62 receiving yards. Running back Ben Tate also gave a strong effort with 72 rushing yards and 20 receiving.
The Colts head to Kansas City next week to face the Chiefs (10-3) while the Texans host the Broncos (11-3).
