Andrew Luck had a big day through the air, but it wasn't enough to avoid a rough loss for the Colts at the hands of the Bengals, 42-28, in Cincinnati.
Luck had a stellar game with four touchdowns on 29 of 46 passing for 326 yards and no interceptions. Andy Dalton gave the Bengals a big boost, and ended up going 24 of 35 with 275 yards through the air, four touchdowns (3 pass, 1 rush) and no interceptions.
Trent Richardson ran for 20 yards on six carries and had five receptions for 68 yards. Da'Rick Rogers was a highlight, catching six passes for 107 yards with two scores.
The Indianapolis defense gave up 155 yards rushing and 275 passing.
Bengals running back Giovani Bernard was impressive, racking up 99 yards rushing and 49 receiving. After Dalton, he was the top performer for Cincinnati. Tight end Jermaine Gresham also performed well with 41 receiving yards and one touchdown.
The Colts host the Texans (2-11) next week while the Bengals head to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers (5-7).
