T.Y. Hilton had a big day for the offense, but it was not enough to avoid an upset loss for the Colts against the Rams, 38-8, at home.
Andrew Luck was hampered by turnovers, taking away from a 29 for 47 and 353 yards, three picks and one fumble, he also added one touchdown. For the Rams, Kellen Clemens wound up 9 for 16 with 247 yards passing, two touchdowns and one fumble.
Donald Brown ran for -1 yards on two carries in addition to five receptions for 64 yards and a score. Hilton was a highlight, catching seven balls for 130 yards.
The Indianapolis defense surrendered 140 yards rushing and 247 passing. They sacked Clemens two times.
Rams wide receiver Tavon Austin could not be contained, putting up 138 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Running back Benny Cunningham also put together a noteworthy performance with 72 rushing yards and 18 receiving.
The Colts travel to Nashville next week to meet the Titans (4-4) while the Rams are at home to take on the Bears (5-4).
