The Colts defeated the Broncos, 39-33, at home.
An outstanding game for Andrew Luck was topped off with four touchdowns (3 pass, 1 rush) on 21 of 38 passing for 228 yards and no interceptions. Peyton Manning gave his best effort to keep the Broncos competitive, going 29 of 49 with 386 yards passing, three touchdowns and one pick.
Donald Brown rushed for 23 yards on 11 carries while adding three receptions for 42 yards. Coby Fleener was a highlight, pulling in five balls for 38 yards with a touchdown.
The Indianapolis defense managed to keep the running game in check, but could not slow down the aerial attack, giving up 365 yards passing and 64 rushing. They harassed Manning and the Broncos offensive line with an imposing four sacks.
Lastly, Adam Vinatieri was perfect, hitting all three of the field goals he attempted.
Broncos wide receiver Eric Decker provided some spark with 150 receiving yards and one touchdown. Tight end Julius Thomas had a good game as well with 41 receiving yards and one touchdown.
The Colts head to Houston next week to face off with the Texans (2-5) while the Broncos will play host to the Redskins (2-4).
