Indiana tops both major polls again

Indiana and Duke top both major polls, released Monday, with the Hoosiers at the No. 1 position.

Indiana leads the AP media poll for the sixth straight week.

Indiana (9-0) got 44 of 64 first-place votes while No. 2 Duke, also 9-0, received the remaining votes. The Hoosiers for 25 of 31 votes in the USA Today coaches poll while the Blue Devils received the other six.

Though there were some changes to the order, the teams in both polls remained the same as last week.

Michigan and Syracuse ranked third and fourth, respectively. No. 5 Florida and No. 6 Louisville traded places from last week. Ohio State, Arizona, Kansas and Illinois make up the rest of the top 10 in both polls.

Illinois (10-0) handed Gonzaga its first loss of the season Saturday and moved into the AP top 10 for the first time since 2006. Gonzaga fell to 14th in both polls.

The Big Ten has the most ranked teams in both polls with six, including four in the top 10.
