Incarnate Word defeats Northwood 106-94

SAN ANTONIO (AP) -- Denzel Livingston had a career-high 31 points and 10 rebounds as Incarnate Word defeated Northwood 106-94 Tuesday night.

Incarnate Word (4-0) hit 17 of 29 from three-point range, setting a school record. Livingston hit 7 of 12 from beyond the arc while leading five Cardinals in double figures. Sam Burmeister was 6 of 7 from the floor on his way to 19 points.

There were six ties and 12 lead changes.

Northwood (1-2) pulled within one when Chace Franklin hit a jumper to make it 74-73 with 8:41 remaining. The Cardinals then went on a 23-9 run, capped by a 3-pointer by Anthony Horton to make it 97-82. Horton scored 15 and added nine rebounds.

Everrett Pleasant scored 28 points and had 7 rebounds, and BJ Dale added 25 points to lead the Knights.
