COMMENTARY | Chicago Tribune Blackhawks beat writer Chris Kuc included a link in a tweet he sent out earlier today that may disclose the identity of the infamous helmet thief from last night's Chicago Blackhawks game against the Winnipeg Jets:
"Recognize this guy? Maybe if he had on a Jets helmet? The (allegedly) drunken helmet-stealer from #Blackhawks game."
Here's a link to the notorious lid grabber in action last night. The link Kuc tweeted out is to an online profile for Kevin Mize who is, " the Dealer Principal and President of O'Hare Honda and O'Hare Hyundai, located in Des Plaines, Illinois." It does make a lot of sense that this guy works at a car dealership.
What do I have to do to get you in an NHL player's helmet today? Eleven beers or so should do the trick. The profile goes on to list his hobbies:
"Kevin enjoys, golf, fly-fishing, skiing, and kayaking..." They may want to add alleged public drunkeness and buffoonery to his list of hobbies if this is the helmet-stealing bandit.
