Hyun-Jin Ryu: Agrees To Six-Year, $36 Million Deal With Dodgers

Update: Ryu agreed to a six-year, $36 million contract with the Dodgers on Sunday, Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com reports.

Recommendation: The Dodgers paid nearly $26 million just to negotiate with Ryu, but their window was closing quickly Sunday with no deal in place. Thankfully for the team, the two sides reached an agreement on a contract, and it includes an opt out clause after the fifth year. It marks the second high-profile signing in as a many days for Los Angeles, as they inked fellow starting pitcher Zack Greinke to a six-year deal Saturday.
