    Hornets' Davis, Rivers out with injuries

    Rookies Anthony Davis and Austin Rivers will miss New Orleans' game Wednesday night against Philadelphia because of injuries.

    Davis, who is averaging 14.5 points in two games this season, is awaiting medical clearance to play after suffering a concussion. Rivers has a sprained finger.

    Ryan Anderson and rookie Darius Miller are expected to start in place of Davis and Rivers.
