White Sox pitcher Hector Noesi turned in a fantastic start Wednesday against the Indians.
Noesi allowed two runs on six hits over seven innings. He struck out five and walked one during the outing. Noesi allowed his first run in the third inning. With two outs, he allowed a double and then a run-scoring single to Michael Bourn. He was able to get out of the inning without giving up any additional runs. Noesi held Cleveland scoreless over the next three innings before giving up his second run. With one out in the seventh, Noesi gave up a solo home run to Lonnie Chisenhall. He got out of the inning and was pulled to start the eighth.
With the win, Noesi improved to 8-9. He’ll take on the Tigers in his next start.
