Hector Noesi blasted in loss to Twins
White Sox starter Hector Noesi had been on a nice run lately, but it ended Sunday against Minnesota.
Noesi was burned for five earned runs on eight hits in 6 2/3 innings in falling to 8-10 on the season. He walked two and fanned three. The big blow was a two-run homer by Jordan Schafer in the fourth, after which he settled down a bit. The poor outing followed four straight quality starts.
The right-hander is scheduled to pitch again next weekend at Tampa Bay.
