Miami guard Dwyane Wade will be back on the floor Wednesday night as the Heat seek to extend their 27-game winning streak against the Bulls in Chicago.
Wade confirmed after a morning shootaround that he would play in his hometown. The Heat also acknowledged Wade's intention to return.
Wade has missed the past two games to rest a sore right knee, but the Heat had no problem beating Charlotte or Orlando in his absence.
The 31-year-old veteran is averaging 21.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists this season.
