Heat's James commits first foul in seven games

LeBron James' foul-free streak ended after more than six games when he was whistled for an infraction in the first quarter Tuesday.

The Miami Heat star hadn't been assessed a personal foul in 254 minutes before he fouled Oklahoma City Thunder forward Serge Ibaka just over four minutes into the Christmas Day game in Miami.

James committed two fouls Dec. 8 against the New Orleans Hornets, then played foul-free basketball against the Atlanta Hawks, Golden State Warriors, Washington Wizards, Minnesota Timberwolves, Dallas Mavericks and Utah Jazz. All except the Dallas game were at home.

In the second quarter Tuesday, James was called for another foul.

James had a game-high 19 points at halftime as the Heat led the Thunder 54-48. Miami's Mario Chalmers had 12 points at the break. Ibaka led Oklahoma City with 11 first-half points.
