The Atlanta Hawks announced Friday that they re-signed free agent guard/forward Kyle Korver to a new contract.

Terms were not disclosed by the team. Media reports have indicated that it is a multiyear deal.

Korver averaged 10.9 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals in 30.5 minutes last season while shooting 46.1 percent, including 45.7 on three and 85.9 from the foul line. He was second in the NBA in 3-point percentage and fourth in 3-pointers made with 189. He also made at least one 3-pointer in his final 73 games of the regular season, the longest active streak in the NBA and fourth-longest streak in league history.

"Kyle was a key contributor for us last season, and we're thrilled to retain him," general manager Danny Ferry said in a statement. "He is a tremendous competitor and an important presence for our team both on and off the court."

Korver has averaged 9.6 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 24.8 minutes in 10 NBA seasons. He has also played for the Philadelphia 76ers, Utah Jazz and Chicago Bulls.
