What's buzzing on Yahoo Sports:

Harbaugh denies report he mocked Seahawks -- abruptly

The SportsXchange

San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh was anything but jolly on Christmas Eve, a day after his team was embarrassed on national television in Seattle.

Harbaugh made quick work of the day-after press conference, using as few words as possible to say the 49ers were in the process of moving on. In his words: "Reorganize, refit and regroup."

There were two major takeaways. The first was that wide receiver Mario Manningham was set to undergo an MRI on Monday on the knee he injured against Seattle. Harbaugh offered no further insight, but it's fair to assume Manningham is a longshot to return to the team this season based on how bad the injury looked in slow-motion video replay.

The second was that Harbaugh denied a Yahoo! Sports report that he mocked the Seattle bus by honking and saluting it from his car after the first game this season.

"That did not occur," he said. "That's a fabrication."

Seattle cornerback Richard Sherman, who played for Harbaugh at Stanford, relayed the story to Yahoo! Sports.

"I can't remember a time where I left the game where the other team has still be there this entire season," Harbaugh said.

His comments on the accusation were the most expansive of his press conference.
