Roy Halladay's sore right shoulder is scheduled to undergo an examination Tuesday. The Philadelphia Phillies are worried about the health of the veteran pitcher. "Anytime you have an injury, you have a concern, no matter who it is," Phillies assistant general manager Scott Proefrock said Monday. "We've been through these things before. [Vance] Worley, [Roy] Oswalt last year. We're fortunate we have Kyle [Kendrick] in the role he is in. Hopefully, Vance is close to coming off the DL, so we'll be covered again." Worley was placed on the disabled list May 12 with inflammation in his right elbow. He said he hasn't felt pain in the elbow while playing long toss. Knowing the Phillies might need help in their rotation, Worley said he's hoping to return soon. "It's tough. I don't know exactly what's going on there right now," Worley said. "But I'm trying to get back as fast as I can anyway. I don't want to say there's more pressure, but I definitely want to be back ASAP. Especially now with that going on."
