Halladay leaves game with stomach virus

Philadelphia Phillies right-hander Roy Halladay was pulled from his exhibition start after just one inning Sunday because of a stomach virus, the team announced.

ESPN reported that Halladay's fastball was down in the 87 mph range. He needed 25 pitches to get through the inning against the Baltimore Orioles.

Halladay also struggled in his last start against the Detroit Tigers in which he gave up seven runs in 2 2/3 innings and his fastball clocked between 82 and 86 mph.
