Griffin remains in game after coming up limping

The SportsXchange

Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III came up limping after an incompletion following a scramble in the first quarter of Sunday's playoff game against Seattle, but he stayed in the game and threw his second touchdown pass of the game soon thereafter.

During Seattle's ensuing possession, Griffin was examined by Dr. James Andrews in a small hut that is on the playing field but out of view of spectators. The Redskins issued no statement about a possible injury, and Griffin returned to the field after Washington regained possession.
