Update: The Packers elected not to franchise Jennings, according to Milwaukee Journal Sentinel writer Tom Silverstein.
Recommendation: Jennings is now on target to hit free agency, which opens March 12. It's still quite conceivable that the Packers will be able to retain him, but that's no lock, with teams (like Miami) out there with both money to spend and a need at wideout.
