BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. (AP) Javonte Green scored six of his 12 points during the go-ahead run in Radford's 58-54 victory over Gardner-Webb on Thursday night, ending a 29 game losing streak away from home.

The Highlanders trailed 52-50 after a Tyler Strange 3-pointer with 3:07 left. Green then missed a pair of free throws that could have tied it, before knocking down a long jumper and came away with a steal that led to a dunk, sparking a run that put Radford up for good.

Green scored six points during the spurt.

Johnathan Edwards chipped in 11 points for the Highlanders (5-21, 2-12 Big South Conference), who scored 15 points off 17 turnovers. Radford also outscored Gardner-Webb 30-20 in the paint, in snapping a five-game skid.

The Runnin' Bulldogs (10-16, 5-9), losers of seven of eight, were led by Tashan Newsome with 14 points and Strange with 11.
