On 10-18 shooting from the field and 4-5 from the free throw line, LaMarcus Aldridge put up 24 points for Portland in the loss. Robin Lopez added 10 points and 10 rebounds.
The Suns combined an eFG% of 58.0% with 41.7% 3-point shooting. They are undefeated (2-0) this year when registering marks above 55% and 40% in those respective statistics. The Trail Blazers, on the other hand, are 0-1 when allowing opponents to hit those marks.
This defeat means an end to an 11-game winning streak for Portland, pushing their record to 13-3 for the year.
