Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly made it clear that Everett Golson will be the Irish's starting quarterback for Saturday's game against Oklahoma.
Golson suffered a concussion in Irish's overtime win over Stanford last weekend and sat out Saturday's 17-13 victory over BYU, even though he had been cleared to play.
Tommy Rees was the starter against BYU, but Golson will be back in charge against the Sooners.
"We feel like we've got a kid now that's 100 percent ready to go for Oklahoma," Kelly said, according to NBCSports.com.
The decision probably was made easier because Rees completed less than half his passes against BYU.
