Domestic football returns to the schedule once again, following the latest round of World Cup qualifiers.
England, thanks to goals from Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard, confirmed a spot at next summer's finals, while Luis Suarez, Hugo Lloris, and Oliver Giroud are among the Premier League contingent who will have to sweat it out in the playoffs before securing their places at Brazil 2014.
But that's enough of that, on with the weekend!
In Saturday's early kickoff we have one for the nostalgia lovers out there, Newcastle vs Liverpool. Be it Kevin Keegan distraught on the advertising boards, Phillipe Albert rivalling Tom Selleck in the moustache stakes, or because Faustino Asprilla was the best Colombian striker you'd ever seen... or THAT goal by Stan Collymore. Newcastle vs Liverpool is always likely to get the heart racing.
Title hopeful Manchester City travels to West Ham on the back of the Hammers' impressive, and totally unexpected, 3-0 win away at Tottenham. And City, having already lost away to Cardiff City and Aston Villa this season, will be wise not to underestimate Sam Allardyce's men this weekend, and, in particular, the in-form former Manchester United starlet Ravel Morrison.
Arsenal welcomes Norwich to the Emirates as it looks to strengthen its lead at the top of the table, while Andre Villas-Boas looks to return to winning ways, this time against the claret and blue of Aston Villa.
