Recommendation: "He will be treated non-operatively," general manager Rob Hennigan said. "Treatment will include rest and subsequent strengthening of the muscles around his shoulder. His return will depend on progress made during his rehabilitation." Davis is not expected to play Friday against the Raptors, but it is unknown exactly how long he will be out. Andrew Nicholson, Gustavo Ayon, Josh McRoberts, and Kyle O'Quinn all figure to see increased opportunities in Davis' absence.
Update: Davis has been diagnosed with a left shoulder sprain, as the MRI showed "no significant structural damage," the Orlando Sentinel reports.
