Giovani dos Santos has yet to end a nightmare spell at Tottenham Hotspur, one that has seen him log just 17 first-team appearances in the Premier League since joining the team in 2008.
At the Mexican national team practice on Friday held in New Jersey, Dos Santos confirmed to Goal.com that the situation with Tottenham has frustrated him, as he continues to wait for an offer to take him away from White Hart Lane.
"[Tottenham] have given me answers but none convince me," Dos Santos said as to why Spurs have refused to sell him thus far. "Because, at the end of the day, they haven't given me minutes on the pitch. I respect the club and my contract, but my intention is to leave."
Dos Santos' lawyer, Vicente Montes, recently discussed a failed transfer that would have sent him to Villarreal for the 2012-13 season, prompting rumors that the former Barcelona starlet might find refuge in MLS or the Mexican Primera.

"There are options from several places, I'm not going to close any doors, but the idea is to remain in Europe."
Later on, Gio made sure to confirm that he does not disparage playing in North America, but does not hold it to be an option at the moment.
"It's not that I see it as a bad option, I simply think I've been formed in Europe for years and want to remain there."
Finally, the former Racing loanee mentioned that he is desperately seeking to fix his contractual situation to avoid reporting to Tottenham, but if this is not the case, he will not avoid his pre-scheduled club duty.
