Giants sign WR Carlos
The New York Giants announced Monday that they signed wide receiver Keith Carlos.
A roster spot opened after the team waived rookie running back Jeremy Wright on Friday.
Carlos was briefly with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2011, but has not appeared in a professional game.
Carlos converted from a wide receiver to running back while at Purdue in 2009 and '10. In 2009, he made 21 catches for 242 yards with a touchdown. In 2010, he carried the ball 56 times for 314 yards with two touchdowns.
