Giants sign Walter Thurmond, Quintin Demps

The New York Giants are signing former Seattle Seahawks cornerback Walter Thurmond to a one-year deal, according to ESPN, a development that comes as they host Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie for a visit.

They also signed former Kansas City Chiefs safety and kick returner Quintin Demps, who averaged 30 yards per kickoff return last season with one touchdown scored. Demps announced he was joining the Giants.

Thurmond visited the San Francisco 49ers.

Thurmond previously visited the Jacksonville Jaguars, which are coached by former Seahawks defensive coordinator Gus Bradley
