Buzzing on Yahoo Sports:

Giants' Pierre-Paul questionable, Cruz probable vs. Cowboys

The SportsXchange

New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul (back) practiced all week and was officially listed as questionable for Sunday night's season opener at Dallas.

He's expected to play, but likely on a limited snap count.

"It's not going to be game time. We'll make up our minds before that," coach Tom Coughlin said. "The medical people will have more to say about that, I'm sure."

Pierre-Paul said he will make the trip to Dallas and hasn't experienced any soreness.

Wide receiver Victor Cruz (heel) continued to practice Friday and is listed as probable. Cruz said stamina is not a problem, but he would like to test his cutting ability on an artificial surface.

"I haven't had a chance to do that, at least not yet. So I have a day tomorrow, I'll probably get just a couple routes on it tomorrow, nothing too crazy," Cruz said. "But I'm confident. I feel good, I feel like I'm in shape, I feel like the heel is much better.

I'm not leaning or favoring the other leg or anything like that so it feels good. I'm anxious to go out there and see what I can do on game day."

--FB Henry Hynoski (knee) is questionable for Sunday. Hynoski is still wearing a small brace during practices to protect his surgically repaired left knee.

--DE Damontre Moore (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game and his status is uncertain after missing significant practice time.

--CB Jayron Hosley (ankle) is probable.
