Giants Pick Up 30-20 Win Over Falcons
The Giants handled the Falcons, 30-20, at home.
Eli Manning found the end zone for two touchdowns against the Falcons on 19 of 30 passing for 200 yards and no interceptions. On the Falcons side, Matt Ryan went 29 for 45 with 316 yards passing, one touchdown and one pick.
Andre Williams carried the ball 20 times for 65 yards with a touchdown while adding two receptions for 18 yards. Odell Beckham Jr. pulled in four passes for 44 yards with a touchdown.
The New York defense managed to keep the running game in check, but could not slow down the aerial attack, allowing 90 yards rushing and 316 passing. They were able to get to Ryan for one sack.
Finally, Josh Brown was perfect, making all three of his field goal attempts.
Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones provided some spark with 105 receiving yards. Running back Devonta Freeman also gave a strong effort with 44 receiving yards and 38 rushing.
Next week, the Giants travel to Philadelphia to face the Eagles (4-1) while the Falcons are at home against the Bears (2-3).
