Giants might have sleeper in DE Tracy

The Giants feature one of the deepest D-lines in the NFL. Cracking a rotation that's front-loaded with Jason Pierre-Paul, Justin Tuck and Osi Umenyiora will be very tough for the number of young rushers the team has at camp. But keep an eye on Adrian Tracy. Head coach Tom Coughlin and defensive coordinator Perry Fewell both praised Tracy for his work in May and June, and Fewell believes that the converted linebacker will be fine as a full-time end — and that he could even make a dent in the lineup. Dave Tollefson, who earned a small but steady diet of snaps as the fourth end the past few years, has moved on to Oakland. And after the top three, there are few established options other than Justin Trattou, who has only six games to his name. Tracy has underrated strength at the point of attack despite smallish DE size (6-2, 245 pounds) and could be a surprise after spending last season on the practice squad.
