The Giants have agreed to terms on a contract extension with LS Zak DeOssie. The deal is for three years and worth $3.45 million, with $900,000 guaranteed, and will run through 2015. BigBlueInteractive.com first reported the news.
DeOssie has been the team’s long-snapper since 2007, not missing a game in that time span.
A two-time Pro Bowler, DeOssie does more than just handle punt and field-goal snaps. He has also made 38 tackles on special teams during his career.
The Giants had given the five-year veteran a contract extension two years ago, and he had one year remaining on that deal.
