Phoenix (36-25) picked up the win after falling to the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday.
Green shot 12-22 from the field (8-13 on 3-pointers) and 9-11 from the free throw line, in a quality performance offensively. Markieff Morris also chipped in for Phoenix, finishing with 24 points and 6 rebounds. Russell Westbrook had another strong performance for Oklahoma City despite the loss, scoring 36 points on 13-22 shooting (4-9 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 6-6 from the free throw line. He also added 9 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. Kevin Durant added 34 points and 7 rebounds.
Along with their eFG% of 61.9%, the Suns connected at a rate of 55.6% from 3-point range. On the season, they are 12-2 when they record marks above 55% and 40% in those respective categories. Conversely, the Thunder are 4-4 when allowing their opponents to reach those percentages.
This defeat means an end to a three-game winning streak for Oklahoma City, pushing their record to 46-16 for the year.
