Watch Dogs

Details of the Watch Dogs Season Pass have leaked. If GameStop's listing is to be believed, the pass will net gamers a single-player campaign featuring a new playable character, in addition to new missions and weapons. It will cost $20. PlayStation owners will also get an additional hour of content. Ubisoft revealed last month that PS gamers will get four extra missions and access to the "White Hat" hacker outfit.

PC gamers will need Uplay to play the title. However, besides the one-time registration and occasional DLC purchases, gamers won't need to access the client. "Like some of our other AAA releases, including Far Cry 3, Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Watch Dogs will be available on Steam and will leverage Uplay to support the game's services," said a Ubisoft rep to IGN.

"Dragon Age: Inquisition" Won't Feature Post-Launch DLC Party Members

Dragon Age: Inquisition will not add new characters via DLC. The game is slated to have nine party members. Six have been revealed thus far: Cassandra, Iron Bull, Sera, Solas, Varric and Vivienne.

"Because of how deeply enmeshed in the system companion characters are, we can't just add them on the fly; part of them has to be shipped on the disc," explained creative director Mike Laidlaw to Official Xbox Magazine. "[This] has led to criticism that we're forcing people to pay for content they already own. It's not the case, but we've decided this time to not go that route. There will be no DLC party members."

Laidlaw also mentioned that the game will use Kinect's voice command feature, as did Mass Effect 3.

"Magic 2015: Duels of the Planeswalkers" Announced, Won't Come to PlayStation

Wizards of the Coast has announced plans to release Magic 2015 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, Kindle, Android and iOS. Release dates will likely be staggered, with Xbox One gamers getting first dibs.

The game centers on Garruk Wildspeaker, the "deadliest hunter in the Magic Multiverse," who will turn his attention from his usual prey—beasts of the wild—in order to focus on hunting down players. The title features a number of updates, including new booster packs with premium downloadable content, the ability to create customized decks, and a "more robust" deck builder.

EA Looking to Preserve Old "Battlefield" Titles After GameSpy Shuts Down

GameSpy's multiplayer servers are set to shut down on May 31. Hundreds of games will be impacted by the change, but most publishers are making arrangements to keep their older titles alive after the servers go offline. EA is working to make sure titles like Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 remain playable.

"We're working on finding a transition, but still have technical hurdles to overcome," EA told IGN. "We will make an announcement when there is news to share."

Nintendo announced it will cease online services for its games impacted by the shutdown. Activision says its games won't be impacted, and Capcom is "evaluating migration solutions." Others like Rockstar Games, Namco Bandai, Ubisoft and 2K Games have not yet announced their plans.
