Washington Redskins (2-4) at Denver Broncos (6-1)

Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET, at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, Denver - TV: FOX

*TV announcers: Thom Brennaman, Troy Aikman, Pam Oliver

*Keys to the game: Chinks were finally unveiled in the Broncos' offensive armor by the Colts, who stuffed RB Knowshon Moreno, came at QB Peyton Manning in waves and were physical with his receivers downfield. However, it's debatable if the Redskins have the personnel to copy the blueprint - especially on the road in high altitude. Manning returned to practice Thursday, but has an ankle injury that might explain why so many of his passes in Indianapolis fluttered downfield and appeared to lack much zip. The Redskins allow 262.8 passing yards per game and have issues at safety, particularly with veteran Brandon Meriweather suspended for the game. The Redskins will attempt to control the tempo with RBs Alfred Morris and Roy Helu and play keep-away from Denver's offense. QB Robert Griffin III continues to round back into form as well, throwing for 444 yards and rushing 20 times over the past two games. Denver's pass defense is allowing a league-high 319.9 yards per game and likely will be minus CB Champ Bailey.

*Matchup to watch - Redskins OLB Brian Orakpo vs. Broncos LT Chris Clark: Clark was beaten routinely by Colts OLB Robert Mathis last week. Orakpo doesn't boast the same numbers with three sacks on the season, but he is another talented pass rusher who will give Clark fits in one-on-one battles.

*Player spotlight - Broncos DE/OLB Von Miller: Miller was caught out of position a few times in his season debut last week and must balance his aggressive pass rush while being aware of Griffin's scrambling ability. RG3 is beginning to utilize the read-option more often and can use Miller's aggressiveness against him.

*Fast facts: Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan was Denver's coach for 14 years, winning two Super Bowls. ... Opposing quarterbacks had a 102.1 passer rating against the Redskins. Manning has a league-best 123.3 passer rating.

WHO WILL WIN AND WHY

It's easy to overreact to single games in the NFL, and the Broncos finally displayed vulnerability last week. But back at home against a defense that has little hope of coping with Peyton Manning's arsenal, Denver gets back on track with an explosive offensive display.

*Our pick: Broncos 45-34
