Stephanie McMahon Q&A:

Gabbert, Henne share first-team reps

The SportsXchange

First-year head coach Gus Bradley said competition will be the theme of his tenure as the man in charge in Jacksonville. As offseason workouts commence, he's staying true to those words.

Blaine Gabbert and Chad Henne are evenly splitting reps with the first-team offense, a plan that will continue until a starter emerges.

The competition could even intensify in the coming days. The Jaguars hold the No. 2 overall pick in next Thursday's draft, and have met privately with several top prospects at the position, including Geno Smith of West Virginia, USC's Matt Barkley, Florida State's EJ Manuel and North Carolina State junior Mike Glennon.

"I think they need to have tunnel vision. I think they need to focus on what they can control and not focus on really anything other than that," offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch told Jaguars.com Wednesday.

Gabbert was placed on injured reserve with a forearm injury after a 1-5 start last season. He is 5-19 since being drafted 10th overall in 2011.
