Free agent wide receiver Bert Reed was suspended the first four games of this season, according to the Baltimore Sun. It is not clear why he was suspended. Reed, 25, was most recently with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was with their practice squad toward the end of the season. He was then signed to the roster in January but the team cut him April 30. Reed signed with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent in May 2012 out of Florida State.
