Update: Gutierrez (foot) will be activated off the disabled list Wednesday, the Seattle Times reports.
Recommendation: The Mariners are activating Gutierrez off the DL perhaps a tad early because they so desperately needs his glove in the outfield. Gutierrez, who's been on the DL all season, is healthy, but his bat might not be in game shape yet. Nevertheless, expect him to jump right into the starting lineup in center field.
