Frank Gore: Had Success Against Packers in Week 1
Update: In his first meeting with Green Bay this season, Gore carried the ball 16 times for 112 yards and a touchdown and the Packers are expected a heavy dose of him again this weekend as linebacker Clay Matthews told reporters, "You'd like to think they're going to get it going in that regard, especially with the lack of success (against the run) we've had in past games."

Recommendation: The Packers gave up an average of 118.5 rushing yards per game and 12 touchdowns on the ground this season and allowed a total of 384 rushing yards in back-to-back games with the Vikings over these last two weeks. Gore has had plenty of rest since the 49ers' final game of the season and has been talking nothing but Super Bowl with his teammates since. If you're in a fantasy playoff league, Gore makes for an outstanding pick this week.
