Recommendation: Mets' pitching coach Dan Warthen said Monday is the target for Francisco to return, but that there were "no guarantees." Francisco was experiencing some inflammation in his right elbow after having bone spurs removed from it in December. Regardless of his Opening Day status, Manager Terry Collins has already named Bobby Parnell the team's closer to start the season.
