It has come a bit later than I had expected, but soccer and rugby fans living in the United States will get one full week to enjoy FOX Soccer Plus without having to pay for the channel.
It was announced via Facebook and Twitter on Thursday afternoon ET that FOX Soccer Plus will be offering a week-long preview of the station. The preview will kick off this Saturday, September 15, and it will run through September 23. English Premier League matches, rugby contests and Australian Rules Football will all be featured on the station throughout the week.
FOX Soccer Plus is usually good for two such previews during the European football calendar. The last came in February 2012. Below is a list of live sporting events that will be featured on the station during the upcoming free preview.

Collingwood take on West Coast Eagles in an Aussie Rules semifinal at 5:30 am. Coverage of Manchester United vs. Wigan is slated to start at 9:53 am.

Hull FC vs. Huddersfield, a Super Rugby League game, begins at 12:30 pm.

No live events will air on FSP on Monday, September 17. Replays of EPL, SPL, Aussie Rules and rugby contests will be featured throughout the afternoon.

Champions League football returns to FSP on Tuesday. Montpellier will host Arsenal at 2:30 pm. Real Madrid vs. Manchester City will air on the station via tape delay at 5:00 pm.

Another live Champions League game will be featured on FSP on Wednesday. Manchester United will host Galatasaray A.S at 2:30 pm. Chelsea vs. Juventus, a Champions League match that will be shown via tape delay, will begin at 5:00 pm.

FSP will have two live Europa League games on Thursday. Maritimo host Newcastle at 12:50 pm. Inter vs. Rubin Kazan follows at 3:00 pm.

An Aussie Rules Preliminary Final will begin at 5:30 am. Then, a Super Rugby League match will be featured on the station at 3:00 pm. The teams participating in both of those contests were not known as of the posting of this piece.

Another Aussie Rules Preliminary Final will air on FSP on Saturday morning at 5:30 am. An EPL contest, West Brom vs. Reading, will show on the station at 9:53 am.
